How to set up a station Geofence
First to go Operations --> stations --> click on the Station ID. This will take you to the Station geofences setup screen. The geofence was set to a 1km radius by default, with the pinpoint taken from Greenway data.
The station zone is fully configurable and the station pin point can be moved by drag and drop. The main station zone is used to define the location status of vehicle (in station/out of station)
Using the 'search location' field
On the map you have a 'search location' field. Here you can type in an address to find the location you are looking for instead of searching via the map itself. The search uses Google Maps.
Moving the station pin
To move the station pin please click on it, then drag it to the desired location and drop it there.
Using a polygon instead of a circle geofence
If you would like to use a polygon instead of a circle as the geofence then you can change this by clicking on the station zone and then choosing Polygon. You will then be able to draw the polygon on the map.
Adding a turnaround zone
You can add a turnaround zone linked to the edited station that later will be used for the turnaround process monitoring. The turnaround zone can be a circle or polygon. Please ensure you name your turnaround zone and then click save once you have drawn your turnaround zone.
Note: please remember to always click 'save' after making any changes
